This course explores the neural foundations of cognitive processes such as perception, attention, memory, language, and decision-making. It examines how brain structures and neural networks support mental functions, drawing on evidence from neuroimaging, brain injury studies, and experimental research. Students develop an integrated understanding of how cognition emerges from brain activity and how neuroscience informs contemporary psychological theory.
